With DLB Content, we promote "Big Ideas" around specific, core issues as well as feature individual shelter dogs (the DLB10+) in need of a new home.
Your sustaining support fuels and allows for expansion of this work! While DLB Media currently helps place hundreds of dogs a year directly from the shelter into matching homes - our goal is LOTS MORE. With growth, the plan is to simultaneously feed additional Available Dogs and Educational Content on several other platforms.

Is DLB a Non-Profit? Nope! There are tens of thousands of non-profit rescues and orgs in the animal rescue space but we still euthanize a million dogs and cats a year, in the United States.
DLB is approaching the problem from a different position - as a media entity. And this type of media cannot be pre-planned and scheduled like casual entertainment content.
DLB Media is like a 24/7 news channel - the dog's situations and information change daily.
We CREATE CONTENT and base this work on an Influencer model.
An alternative, efficient approach to both placing dogs in matching homes and working on the big picture, via education and influence, to affect the lives of those millions of animals... solely with MEDIA CONNECTION.
Think of it like supporting a podcast, streaming service, or music platform - funding the creation and management of consumed content (and DLB content has deep purpose!).
100% of proceeds support costs associated with creation of DLB media, its distribution, growth, and ongoing management. We mostly run on volunteer labor, currently. The real world cost of the work we do, at its current volume, is about $1000/day, 7 days a week. Creating one piece of thorough content takes hours of work including skills of: dog handling, photography, videography, research, data & dog status management, storytelling, video + photo + sound editing, copywriting, music placement and editing, on-screen caption design, SEO, website/social media tech, business management, marketing and digital media platform strategy.
